Founding Apostle Richard Skoff
Senior Pastor Theresa Skoff

Cuyahoga Falls native, Pastor Richard W. Skoff celebrated 40 years of ministry on Sunday April 13th 2014,  at Grace and Glory Fellowship, the church he and his wife Theresa now pastor.  Pastor Richard Skoff was born and raised in Cuyahoga Falls and graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1964. Pastor Skoff graduated from Kent State in 1970 with a BSBA in marketing and received his first ministerial ordination in April of 1974 from Inter-Faith Ministries in Dayton Ohio. Pastor Skoff and his wife Theresa started Gloryland Ministries in their home in North Akron in 1985. After several temporary locations they merged with Stow Calvary Chapel of Praise on Graham Rd in Stow next to Stow City Hall and became Gloryland Chapel of Praise in 1992. They outgrew the little Stow church and changed their name to David’s House Family Church and moved back into Cuyahoga Falls at their present location on the Front Street Mall. In 2006 Pastor Richard was diagnosed with the Lewy Body variant of Alzheimer’s disease. His wife Theresa and their four children, Faith, Israel, Crystal, and Amber took over pastoring and leading the church and changed the name to Grace and Glory Fellowship. In 2007, Pastor Richard’s Lord, Jesus Christ, healed him of the disease, and is now in a supervisory position helping his wife and children pastor the church. As proof of his total recovery, after being diagnosed with the Lewy Body variant of Alzheimer's disease , Pastor Richard earned two more ministerial Degrees. His healing testimony was nationally televised on TCT television last fall and can be seen at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5OfExH7sIZg. In 2008 he was certified as a Grief Recovery Specialist through The Grief Recovery Institute of Sherman Oaks California and in 2010 he was certified as a 1st level Life Coach through Lifeforming Leadership Coaching of Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Pastor Richard will be sharing his healing testimony and preaching on Tuesday, December 9th at 7:00 p.m. while the 700 Club videotapes the service.
